I was an All-American girl, straight A student, cheerleader, living in a small town in south Louisiana. Freshman year, I found myself dating a black boy. You can bet it was the talk of the school, especially the teacher's lounge. It's also probably one of the hardest things I've ever done, but I'm so proud of myself for staying true to who I am. If a brunette dates a brunette and then one day dates a blonde, no one freaks out, because it's none of their damn business who you're attracted to.
The Reality Of Dating A Black Guy In A Small, Predominately White Town
I hope to answer all of these questions about dating white women and even tackle certain issues that you may not have yet considered. But the most important question is a great deal less complicated. Is dating white women something you are interested in doing? Some might consider this a naive approach to dating white women.
Why do I date white women? Black women have told me it's because I'm a sellout. The white men who can get past the mental anguish of my black penis tarnishing "their" women think I'm making some latent admission that their race has the most attractive women. White women range from those so intrigued by black men that it veers into fetish to those so reluctant to date black men that it feels more racist than preference-driven. These are generalizations, of course, but they are attitudes that I've personally encountered.
